The Consultation: Two or three weeks before your party, we will choreograph it from beginning to end. This is the time to bring forth all the ideas you and your family have gathered during the planning stage. I will offer my ideas and suggestions regarding music and games. Together your wishes and my experience will blend to create an individualized format and itinerary for the big event.

The Cocktail Hour: In my opinion, this is the most important hour in any Bar/Bat Mitzvah. This hour will set the tone for the whole party. I take full advantage of this time when the adults are relaxing and mingling to engage the kids. I like to take them the minute they walk in the door and create an exciting and fun atmosphere. We play games, we learn the latest dance steps, and most importantly the kids get to know and trust me. This creates a festive mood, one that will carry over to the rest of the party.

Introductions: The introduction portion of a Bar/Bat Mitzvah is a very individual and personal part of the ceremony. It is a reflection of your family’s style and personality. I do not believe in a cookie cutter approach and therefore offer a number of options for handling introductions.

High Energy – The family is brought in individually to up-beat music, possible escorted by dancers. The guest of honor’s entranced is enhanced by fog and laser lights.
Moderate – The family is brought in individually to up-beat music, and the guest of honor follows. No dancers, no lights & fog.
Low Key – The family enters as a group together with the guest of honor, or the guest of honor is the only one introduced.

The Party: This is the time where adults and kids get together on the dance floor and have fun. By combining the best of today’s top forty with great classic dance hits, I can satisfy an enormous range of age and taste. Distributing glow ropes, hats, and maracas to people who are dancing will add an extra element of fun and keep the floor packed. You want extra insurance? Include dancers in your entertainment package. They will take the party to the next level by teaching simple dance steps that anyone can follow. They are also great for getting the shy kids involved by working the outside of the floor and discreetly inviting them to participate.
